What a view!

This photo was taken in Feb.2007 from Penny's and my plot of land in Kovalam, Kerala, India. The plot slopes down steeply to the east. The photo shows Lake Villany in the distance, some three km from the plot as the crow flys. Lots of crows In India. The lake is some 4km in length. Next time I am in Kovalam I shall find a way to walk to the lake.

The plot has been worked on to form several terraces which support coconut palms, Teak, Tamarind, Jack Fruit, Papaw and other trees. There are a number of large outcrops of rocks,

which will be retained to form interesting features in the garden . I anticipate starting construction in August 2007 and will keep this blog updated.
